The SLIF Artist in House programme is a one of a kind safe heaven program that seeks to stimulate the creativity of artists, develop business skills and provide a platform to help them establish sustainable and profitable trade as known artists. (Assisting Artists to be business orientated).
Potential members of Artist in house will be working in an environment that positions them as artpreneurs, which SLIF has put in place business systems that the artists and crafters entrepreneur must adopt on a day to day operations and be well-positioned in terms of quality management systems with the ability to market, communicate and advocate for sales as a means of self-sustainability.

We work with creative individuals, Art collectors, Interior Designers, Architects, Individual who craves for creativity and style, Corporate Companies, and organisations in our network on both a project-specific and ongoing basis. Each organisation and individual is unique so there is no “one size fits all” recipe for engagement and proactive in suggesting win-win solutions by playing a part of the engineering of the ecosystem in the art industry.

CLAY & WINE FRIDAYS

On the 3rd Friday of each month, our studio hosts 3-hour “Adult Clay & Wine” workshop. Enjoy an intimate one-on-one instructional experience in our beautiful state of the art studio. Perfect for date night, girl’s night out, birthday parties, corporate events, bridal and baby showers (private bookings available).
Projects alternate between wheel throwing, paint-your-own, or one of our fabulous sculpting projects! Our goal is to create a perfectly coordinated evening so that you can relax, unwind, and leave inspired.

PRIVATE CLAY & WINE PARTIES

Book your own private Clay & Wine event for just R460.00 per person with a minimum of 8 guests! Cost includes red wine, snacks, live instrumental music, instruction, and all materials (clay, glaze, and firings). Simply gather a group of 8 or more, pick your night, and get ready to get your hands dirty! Available classes: Wheel throwing (8 guests only) -OR -Sculpture (8-20 guests, with the freedom to select your own project in advance).
